Fine German violin with a beautiful one piece back
This instrument is from our collection of old violins and is unlabelled. It was probably made in Germany in the last half of the twentieth century. It is a pretty full-size old violin with a pleasant and even tone. Being professionally and carefully set up with new Pro Arte strings and a Wittner tailpiece for easy tuning, it's ready for playing

| A fine piece of quilted maple was used for the back of this violin. The spruce front is in good condition with a few knocks and blemishes but no cracks or repairs. You will see that an old peg box crack to the e string peg hole has been securely repaired with a new interior lining on the right side. This is a well-executed scroll, and a very pretty violin.
