Choosing the right instrument
Where do you start?
It is important that anyone learning to play a musical instrument has a good one. It should be one with which they can form a close bond and make progress together

At Dance of delight we include photo galleries and sounds of all our instruments. You can try them on approval and if you are near North Gloucestershire, England we encourage you to visit us and try them for yourself

A good instrument, well cared for, is a sound musical - and financial - investment

What's your style?
The violin is a hugely versatile instrument. It sounds great on its own, and wonderful with a range of other instruments.

Here, the traditional Welsh tune, the "Corwen Quick March" is played on an old German violin by Alison with Mark accompanying on the harp. Appropriately enough, we recorded this in the thousand-year-old church of Caio, Llanwrda, Wales. This is a large mp3 file - so why not start it downloading and listen while you browse the site?
